COMPANY PROFILE

Overbeck was founded around 1900 in Bremen and moved to Oyten end of 2001. The company has been engaged in the plastics and chemical industry since the mid 1950s. Overbeck & Co. GmbH produces, develops and markets auxiliary and raw materials for the plastics, friction and chemical industry.

The main areas are:

1. Development and production of innovative Overbeck masterbatches for film extrusion, extrusion coating, BOPP, fibers, foils, plates, profiles, tubes and injection moulding. The masterbatch series is complemented by our range of Overbeck coating materials (PE and PP).
    
2. Import and distribution of microfine polyolefin-powder Microthene F of Equistar Chemicals, Houston, Texas..
    
3. European master agent for GMT Inc., Chicago, Il., the worldwide largest producer of metal fibers for the friction industry.
    
4. Sales of further raw materials.
